For once, JK was glad the Meteor duo was together. He could do his little fact finding in one easy step. Tired of explaining himself, JK skipped that part and when straight to test. First victim was Ryuusei, and a five second long kiss on the lips was all he needed to judge. Down in the bottom ranks he went. Next was poor Hoshi. And after a quick apology, he stood on his toes to plant one on her. "Better than you're brother, hime."
Ryusei was surprised, awkward even, as JK pulled the fast one, which of course put him down in the ranks. He looks on. Hoshi blinks as JK mutters an apology and claims her lips. She had a chance to return it, and did so before he pulled away. The fact that he had to stand on the tips of his toes was cute, at least. ”You’re forgiven, but, what was that for, JK-kun?” Hoshi questioned…though she wasn’t going to make any big deal of it, instead giving a barely perceptible smile, and a blush at the “hime” comment.
Yuuki is like the heart of the Club, in some ways. Her unflagging motivation for space and dedication even when hard times came has earned my respect. I wish her well in her dreams.
Yuuki-chan is adorable, and welcomed me to the club without hesitation, even after finding out what I was. It’s her courage and determination in the face of unforeseen obstacles that make me proud to call her the little sister I wish I had had the chance to have.
“Itsuki is a newer member of the KRC….sadly I don’t see her around as often as I could, and haven’t really interacted with her much. I wish her luck in what she decides to do…and her protection of people’s hearts. The bond we all have connects us, and I will aid her in a heartbeat if she needs it.”
“Itsuki-chan is someone I admire for her determination and drive to succeed…I just wish I saw her around more. To think that she protects the hearts of others makes me feel warm inside…because my heart, even if not human…it still beats with human emotions, and feelings. It’s people like her that make me feel thankful that I chose to live as a human.”
JK’s a fellow member of the Club, and is a pretty cool guy. I kind of regret running him out of my room that one time though, all he wanted to do was sleep. Next time, I’ll take the couch.
JK is a real cutie, and if I were not already taken, I would pursue an interest in him. Even if I got rejected in the end….I wouldn’t have any regrets. He has my trust, and my respect….and he makes an incredibly cute Eevee. I adored him, like that.
Yuuki glanced back at Hoshi and smiled again, blushing a bit from sheer surprise at how the girl was treating her. She seemed to be opening up more and that was great, so Yuuki grinned, already looking forward to the study sessions they would have. She seemed to be listening to everything, and even remembered the name she just called Hayabusa. Normally people would have to ask again or laugh and roll their eyes but not her. Yuuki could already tell they had a lot in common.
She had to look away again when Hoshi spoke up softly, but not before she glanced into her warm brown eyes. She laughed again at the mention of her smile and then looked up, smiling brightly because of it. “You have a nice smile too, its very warm and gentle, Hoshi-san.” The compliments were very flattering and Yuuki had to do her best to not flail in nervousness at them though on the inside, she wanted to. “Dreams..huh? I never thought about that..but being happy always helps especially if you have dreams right?” What an odd but sweet concept. She stopped in front of the library and smiled, turning back to Hoshi as she held her satellite so carefully. “Do you have any dreams, Hoshi-san?”
A faint blush tinges Hoshi’s cheeks at the compliment returned…it would certainly not be spurned. Warm and gentle…that was a bit ironic, considering what she was….and what she could do. But…she pushed that out of her mind.
“….” she looks down at the mention of her dreams. Of course, she knew what she *had* to do. Hunt down a particular Zodiart…the one who had murdered her before, and caused her to be reborn as a freak. She would absolutely not tell Yuuki of any of that, if she could help it. instead, Hoshi lightly shuffles her feet, shrugging slightly.
“Not really.” she gave, with a warm smile from her facade. ”My future’s open, I just need to make the best of it.” At one time….she’d had a dream. But…not any more.
Yuuki watched her face as Hoshi reacted and chuckled a little, happy that she seemed just as caught off guard as she had been before. It was cute and had Yuuki smiling at her new friend for a second. When the girl finally speaks up, Yuuki steps forward and nods, thinking that she could not have said it any better. “Awww yes, that is…a very optimistic way of looking at it Hoshi-san!” She was shuffling her feet and seemed so nervous and cute and ahh mouu what was she saying??! Or thinking??! She had to say something else, say something else! “Ahh Hoshi-san..”
Yuuki walks over and takes her arm, the one cradling Hayabusa to her chest. “Everyone has a dream at some time and I am sure you will find yours, just as you will find the star that shines the brightest for you.” She smiles and steps back, smiling with a tint of a blush now. What was she saying? Why was she feeling so connected to Hoshiko? “Ahhh excuse me for a second! Gotta get some-something!” With that, Yuuki runs around the corner and squees into her hands, her face blushing red and she flails for a second before coming back a few minutes later. “Ummm so wanna tour the library next?”
Hoshiko looks up softly..regarding the girl’s reply with a slight nod. Why was she clenching up inside like this? It made her feel awkward. Then Yuuki took her arm and she couldn’t help but smile.
The star that shines brightest for me? I don’t know, about all the dream stuff. The light went out of my life in that regard….but…
She comes out of her reverie to see Yuuki step back, catching the smile and the tint of a blush. Eh? Did…was she feeling similarly? Hoshi blinks as Yuuki excuses herself, and watches her run off. Only one thought permeates the silence of her mind, as she waits.
No one else has ever shined so brightly in my life before, and it draws me to her. .. M…maybe it’s not too late, for me to find a dream. But…until I do…I will protect her dream at any cost… Because she’s worth it.
The star girl looks up to see Yuuki return, and nods softly. ”Yes please. Lead the way.”
Ryusei enjoyed it similarly, the rush of curves the absolute thrill of putting your life in your own hands…it was amazing. And his day was going amazingly as well. They come down off the hill at high speed and head towards the city, and a grin was on his face.
“So this is the place? Reminds me of a cafe I went to often after school, back at home.” Inga hooked her helmet to the back of her bike. “It was the best hangout spot. Never too crowded but never too quiet. Perfect for a bunch of teenagers pretending to be sophisticated. Or rather what they thought that was.” She giggled at herself. “I sound like some old woman rambling on about her past. I know we aren’t far apart in age or anything but somehow you bring back these feelings of a missed childhood. Well, senior year but all the same. I love that you can do that without even trying.”
Ryusei took off his helmet and just sat there on the bike, watching her and listening to her talk. He was hanging on every word of her story, and smiled at bit at the end. ”That sounds like fun. I feel that time would be kind to you.” he begins softly. ”And I enjoy hearing your stories.” He dismounts from the bike, a bit flexibly himself, and walks over to her. ”So you don’t sound like an old woman to me…and maybe we can experience these feelings side-by-side.” His background was similar after all.
He finds himself reaching for her hand again…even though gossip will happen when he walks in hand in hand with her. He doesn’t care. The age thing doesn’t matter to him at all, a spiritual connection formed at such a deep level ignores such societal constraints.
Ryusei leans his head back and closes his eyes. ”…you’re pretty good at that…” he gives softly…having opened up some to Gentaro just from that…
“I had a lot of practice. When my legs were healing up in the other timeline, my hands needed to do something, so I learned massage.” Gentaro rubs Ryusei’s back with the back of his hand, before rhythmically running his fists up both sides of Ryusei’s spine. With one last spidery soft touch, he signals that the massage is done. “There you go.”
“I see..” Ryusei said, his eyes still closed. When the other was done, he smiled a bit. “With a massage like that, anything I could give would only be secondary.”
“Then how about another kiss?” Gentaro asks. “You’re good at that.”
“Careful, you might become addicted.” He smirks, but lays another kiss on Gentaro’s lips anyway.
